• How many people (indicate children & elderly) normally live in the house?
• When is most hot water used, morning or evening?
• Is the property unoccupied for parts of the year?

Location and Size

• Where is property located?
• How big is the property (for space heating)?
• Is property a new-build or undergoing a renovation?

Roof Orientation

• South
• South-East (pointing same direction as Sky satellite dish)
• South-West
• East
• West
• Flat Roof
• Gable Wall
• Indicate if there is any chimney or tree shading

Type of Roof Tile

• Roadstone Double Roman
• Roadstone Spanish Roll
• Roadstone Plain Concrete
• Marley Double Roman

• Slate (indicate age)

Pipe Run

• Is there an easy route for pipes from the roof to the hot press?
• Is the attic converted or likely to be converted in the future?
• How long is the pipe-run (one-way)?

Hot press

• How big is the cylinder? (30, 36, 48, 60 inches)
• Insulation standard?
• Does the heating system have any gun barrel joining cylinder?
• Is hot press large enough for 60" (5 foot) cylinder?

Heating System

• Is the heating system unvented (pressurised)?
• Is the heating system vented (small attic tank - feed and expansion tank)?
• What type of primary fuel is used, solid, oil, gas or combination?
