SEI Grants
Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) is running the Greener Homes Scheme which provides assistance to homeowners who intend to purchase a new renewable energy heating /hot water system for either new or existing houses. The second grant scheme has been discontinued, and the third "Greener Homes Scheme 2" is now in operation.
The only real difference is that new-builds do not qualify, the maximum grant on vacuum tube panels is still €1800 and on flat plates €1500.
The Greener Homes Application Form
The technical part of the form is page 7, which we have pre-completed for you (see below).
Choose the system you are interested in, and print this page. Please email us if your system isn't here and we will help you fill out the form.
If Allied Solar is installing your system, then fill in Installer ID as I-1432
and Installer name as "Allied Solar".

The SEI normally take about 2 weeks to process the grant application. Once you have the grant approval, the job can proceed.
